Libranis  ·  The Commons
The commons

A foundation worth building on — for everyone.

Libranis Core is the foundation under every Libranis experience. We intend to open it, so what we build on, you can build on.

Open source, planned

We plan to open-source Libranis Core in late 2026 or early 2027. When it opens, builders will be able to create their own experiences — we call them orbital apps, because they orbit the same core — on the very foundation that runs ScanThis.

The timeline is an intention, not a promise; we’ll open it when it’s solid enough to deserve your trust.

The code and the name

The code will be open. The Libranis™ name stays stewarded by Maturation Mechanics, LLC — the same way open ecosystems you already rely on protect their names.

What that means in practice is simple: say “built on Libranis Core” with pride, and give your own creation its own name. The commons stays coherent when the core is stewarded and every builder’s work is unmistakably theirs.

Why a commons

Software that holds people’s stories shouldn’t be a walled garden. A shared core, openly readable and openly buildable, is how this kind of infrastructure earns trust — and how it outlasts any one company’s roadmap, including ours.
